Country Roads Restaurant & Grill

Update: Up visiting relatives and we had six for dinner so we ventured over here. I inquired about an appetizer that I had never seen. Hamlin Hot Dip. The cook/owner said it was chili combined with sour cream and cream cheese and was quite tasty. We ordered that for the table. It came with fried homemade tortilla chips and some grilled jalapeno rings (a great addition that made a unique dish even better) and everyone loved it and raved about it. I went with a double burger (the mama bear) and although cooked more done than I prefer it was a fine burger. The young high school girl that waited on our table was delightful. She knew the menu and if she didn't know she quickly went and asked. Her service was fantastic. She was also training a new employee too. Two others had spaghetti (immense portions) and another had the roast beef. Everyone enjoyed their meals and especially the service. ---------------------- First Visit: Cheeseburger salad. Really great, unique idea and tasty. They use Spillman Mountain beef. From the others that dined: One had pizza burger - huge, fresh, delicious. Chicken parm is a massive amount of food, side of garlic toast, side salad and plenty of chicken. Shut the front door chicken salad sandwich on sourdough...great!

First time visiting here and the food was amazing. I had the best hamburger that I can remember in the past 5 years or more and the fries were perfect, also. Terrific service, nice variety on the menu. I just wish they weren't 4½ hours away.

We just finished up a fantastic meal that all 10 of us enjoyed. Our burgers were excellent (Baby, Firehouse and Onion), the fries were the best, and the chicken fingers were great. Thank you Joey for the super service and Clark for being the best chef! We will be back for sure!!

Took a chance on a local restaurant instead of fast food on a road trip. Well worth it. It had a unique, homey atmosphere, great service, and awesome food. The all day breakfast was amazing, as well as the chicken salad sandwich.

I love the service. They are all very nice and attentive. The prices are high but acceptable. They have a little bit of everything to choose from to suit anyone and everyone. They are really good at taking requests. I wanted a Sundae and a shake so I just asked her to make me a shake out of the sundae I just ordered. IT WAS AWESOME They have indoor and outdoor dining. They have a window for outside dining and to go orders. I take my fur baby with me when I go and we sit outside and eat. They love him there. This is a place you don't want to miss if you have the extra cash.

Got there around 4pm after a long hike and was told that Breakfast was served all day! I loved the food and the service was wonderful. 10/10 would recommend!

UPDATED: thanks to the managers quick response from my review I have changed my rating from a one star to a four star. I would have been happy with a refund for just the boys meal but appreciate you fixing my concern. I was just disappointed we could not all eat together at the same time. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was disappointed that my wife & I received our meals and my kids didn’t get theirs until an hour later!! We were the only customers in the restaurant. It was $40 for four of us to eat and I was surprised they still charged me for the kids meals when it took so long. I think they forgot about the order. We will pick another place to eat next time. The main reason we ate out this evening is so we could eat a meal together. 11/23/2020. 7:00 pm.
